Kick door

In case you’ve ever had the urge to kick down a door, here’s your complete guide to do so. If you’ve ever had to save someone from a burning building here is how to be the hero and look like a bad-ass while doing so. SEE ALSO: The Step-By-Step Guide To Chopping Down A Tree

Kick door 1

Step 1:

Make sure it’s an emergency and not a criminal act. If the situation isn’t urgent—a raging fire, someone is in need of being saved, etc.—try knocking first. Kick door 2

Step 2:

Aim to strike the door with your foot near the handle. It won’t be an upward kick, of course, but rather more of a horizontal motion that you’re stepping into.SEE ALSO: The Step-By-Step Guide To Lifting A Car

Kick door 3

Step 3:

Kicking with your stronger leg and standing about a “leg’s length” away from your target, strike the door solidly with the heel of your foot, not the ball up near the toes, while making sure all of your weight is moving toward the door as you forcefully extended your leg.
