The Olympia World Fitness Expo is known for introducing different sports and events to its fans and spectators. That reputation is why more groups and organizations are reaching out to the Olympia than ever before wanting to be a part of the action in the Las Vegas Convention Center. One such event that went viral in 2025 and is returning for the 2026 weekend on September 25th and 26th is the Extreme Eating Championships (EEC).
Led by professional eater and IFBB Pro Bartley Weaver IV, last year’s event was deemed a big success. Not only thanks to the competitors and fans watching, but also because they raised over $1,000 for No Kid Hungry, a charity that works to end childhood hunger.
“This is just the start,” they wrote in part on Instagram. Weaver and his team are true to their word and will host the 2026 Olympia Extreme Eating Championships as well.

This year’s EEC will feature boxes of Pinkbox Doughnuts and stuffed MRDR HVYWGHT chocolate bars. Instead of eating the most in a certain time, they will race to finish first out of the qualifying groups they compete in. The winners advance to the “Main Event” on Saturday, Sept. 26 to crown a champion.
There are also other attractions included such as professional competitive eater and social media content creator James Webb, better known as J Webb, trying to break a world record and Eric “Badlands” Booker making a world record chugging attempt.
The organizers have also thrown out a challenge to influencers and other content creators to get in on the action by entering a donut eating contest. The proceeds from that competition will go to charity.
The timeline of this year’s EEC event is below (all times shown are Pacific time).
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Qualifier #1, EEC Booth. 12 competitors race to finish two Stuffed MRDR HVYWGHT Chocolate Bars — the winner advances to the Main Event.
