Expect the unexpected. The 2011 IFBB Pro League season has officially started as Body Fortress presents the inaugural FLEX Pro Bodybuilding Championships at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Prejudging has just concluded and we’re in for a fight between Evan Centopani and Dexter Jackson.

Centopani seems to have added close to ten pounds of quality muscle since he won his pro debut two years ago at the New York Pro – with even tighter conditioning. Jackson, a tad off from his usual sharpness, relied on his trademark shape, symmetry and proportion to keep himself in title contention.

Dennis Wolf and Fouad Abiad appear to be locked in a battle for the third spot. Size and shape goes to Wolf, while Abiad has the advantage in detail and hardness.

With tonight’s second round added into the final scores, it will be interesting to see who will improve and who will fade as the race to become the first FLEX Pro Bodybuilding Championships comes down to the final lap.
