This past year was quite a remarkable year for the sports world with Ronda Rousey dominating the UFC and Serena Williams coming close to landing a calendar Grand Slam. With that said, the editors at Sports Illustrated created a list of the top contenders for the 2015 Sportsman of the Year. And needless to say, the list is pretty epic because three of our Hers girls made it.

You can cast your vote for the athlete at si.com — the winner will be announced on December 14.

Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey was Born to Fight

It’s a no brainer that she’s on the list — having the best year of her career by taking out previously undefeated Cat Zingano in a quick 14 seconds at UFC 184. She then followed that fight up with a 34-second knockout of Beth Carreia at UFC 190. And this weekend she’ll be closing out the year with one of the most anticipated fights: UFC 193 against 18-time champion boxer, Holly Holm

Serena Williams

Williams was just two matches short in attaining the calendar Grand Slam, but she’s still awesome. At the Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon, she won her 19th, 20th, and 21st Grand Slam titles — closing the year with a 53-3 win-loss record. She was also ranked number one for the fifth time in her career.

Simone Biles

U.S Gymnast Simone Biles Captures 10th Gold Medal

At just 18 years old, Simone Biles obtained her third straight all-around title at the U.S. National Championships while leading the team to its successive gold medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Not to mention, Biles also captured her 10th gold medal at the World Gymnastics Championships — setting a new record for the most career gold medals won by a female.
