The 2009 NPC USA Bodybuilding, Figure and Bikini Championships, on July 24-25 at Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall at UNLV, Las Vegas, Nevada, is only three days away. With over 450 competitors and counting, this year’s USA’s promises to shatter previous records as the nation’s best NPC athletes put it all on the line for a chance to jump into the IFBB Pro League.
Right now, it’s time to shine the spotlight on the ladies. Here’s a sneak peek at who to watch in women’s bodybuilding, figure and bikini.

Women’s Bodybuilding With two pro cards up for grabs, the competition will be fierce. Kira Newman, Britt Miller, Holly Geerson and Christine Sabo are just some of the names to keep an eye on.
Figure With well over 200 competitors, it’s the largest field in the show. All height class winners – there are six – receive their pro card. Akane Nigro-Ismeal, Elizabeth Earhart, Mandy Henderson, Soleivi Hernandez, Candice Houston, Pamela Soper, Ann Titone, Jenny Lews and Jeanne Nimmer are all looking to go pro.
Bikini It’s the newest division in the NPC, but it’s certainly rising to the top in popularity. A few names to keep an eye on: Amanda Latona, Monique Minton, Kristal Marshall, Jamie Baird and Andrea Taylor. All six height class winners earn a pro card.
