ItÂs been a long and winding road, but the final contest of the 2007 bodybuilding season is upon us. So if you donÂt know if you can hold off until Â08, check out John LindsayÂs GNC Excalibur Bodybuilding and Figure Championships at Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in Culver City this Saturday, December 1. Prejudging begins at 11 am with finals slated to begin at 6:30 p.m.
The contest originally began as the NPC Ironman/Ironmaiden in 1987 before changing its name to the Excalibur in 2003. Past competitors include Craig Titus (overall winner, 1991), Lionel Brown (3rd heavyweight, 2001), Rusty Jeffers (2nd super heavyweight, 2003), DeShawn Grimez (3rd heavweight, 2003) and Adorthus Cherry (4th heavyweight, 2003).
