J.J. Watt Executes an Amazing Box Jump

The Houston Texan defensive end soars an amazing 59.5 inches!

July 2013 | Declan O'Kelly

They say you can keep a good man down. If we can apply that mantra to box squats, then J.J. Watt is already approaching greatness. In this clip, Watt looks like he is pulling off a routine move. But there is nothing routine about this. The 24-year-old hauls his 288-pound frame a whopping 59.5 inches, nails the jump, pops down and gives a little "watch out" to all the guys he will be gunning for once the season starts. An ominous warning for offenses across the league, but an awesone feat of fitness.
