Brock Rechsteiner has demonstrated his WWE linage on the football field after the New Orleans Saints wide receiver emulated his father, Scott Steiner, and whipped out a German suplex during training.
Grapple fans will know that Scott Steiner made up one half of the iconic Steiner Brother’s tag team with his sibling Rick, and the duo became two-time WWE tag-team champions.
Rick’s son, Bronson Rechsteiner, played for the Kennesaw State Owls, and is now banging heads in WWE ring under the name “Bron Breakker,” where he co-holds the tag team titles. And it appears that Scott’s son, Brock, is ready to break out some pro wrestling moves of his own. The viral footage captured Brock executing a German suplex on Jalen Thompson during a joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys.

The video, posted by the NOF Network, showed 23-year-old Rechsteiner, who was already suspended six games of the 2026 season for violating the NFL-NFLPA performance-enhancing substances policy, grabbing Thompson, who is a safety for the Dallas Cowboys, by the waist and hauling him skyward before crashing the Cowboy back down to earth.
The Steiner Brothers were one of the most successful teams in pro wrestling history and in addition to winning WWE gold, they also won tag team titles in the NWA, WCW, and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Scott was also the WCW heavyweight championship in singles competition, setting up a storied pro wrestling pedigree for Brock. And, while Rechsteiner’s physicality will certainly help him on the football field, the idea that he may follow in his family’s footsteps, and enter the ring himself, is a distinct possibility.
“It really inspired me when he got inducted into the (WWE) Hall of Fame,” said Rechsteiner of his famous father in a previous interview. “That inspired me to, once I’m done playing football, I want to pursue football as long as I can, play as long as I can, but once I’m done, I’ll get into wrestling too.”
Brock, it looks like you already have!
