Weightlifters and CrossFitters rejoice: You now have even more shoe options to wear to the gym, courtesy of Adidas.The three-stripes brand is making a play for WOD-lovers everywhere with two pairs of training shoes: the Crazy Power cross-trainer and the Leistung 16.II weightlifting trainer, which was first introduced for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.Whether you’re an Olympic weightlifter or a regular dude who loves to lift heavy in the gym, you’ll definitely want to get your hands on these shoes—and get these shoes on your feet.Check out the gallery for closer looks at the new Leistung 16.II and the Crazy Power.

The Leistung 16.II

“Leistung” means “power” or “performance” in German—fitting, considering this pair of kicks is designed for competitive Olympic weightlifters.

A Specially Configured Heel

Like many weightlifting shoes, the Leistung 16.II features a lightweight plastic heel, which delivers ankle support and helps weightlifters achieve a better ankle angle under the barbell. The Leistung heel is listed at 24.8mm, or roughly 1″.

The Leistung 16.II replaces the traditional Velcro strap with the Boa closure system, which creates a glove-like fit and is made from aircraft-grade stainless steel.

The Leistung 16.II features non-stretchable Powerweave material, ensuring upper stability and allowing for breathability and comfort.

Lock-Down Stability

The shoe comes with a TPU foam midsole, which provides crucial lock-down stability, along with a padded lining that adds cushioning and prevents the heel from sliding up during heavy lifts. The heel is partially hollow, which helps reduce the shoe’s weight.

The second release from the Adidas launch is the Crazy Power shoe, which was designed with high-intensity training and versatility in mind.
