You know those videos of insanely delicious-looking recipes you see scattered throughout your entire Facebook feed? The ones where this giant pile of sweet, savory, fluffy, cheesy, gooey, melty greatness gets gutted by a fork and the internet breaks and your mouth instantly salivates…Yeah, of course you do. Those meals are the very definition of food porn – sure, they look enticing and great on the video, but when you start counting the ingredients and what’s actually going in there, the truth is if you ate meals like that on a regular basis, you’d be glued to your couch, unable to move. But worry not, hope is not lost – enter Quest Nutrition and their new quick-recipe-clean-cooking series “Questify!”

Each week, Quest media chef Joe Castro (@cookeatlift) crafts a cheat clean version of popular foodie goodies from around Los Angeles and the results are every bit as mouth-watering as you’d expect. The first week, he started off simple with a Chocolate Chip Cookie. But not just any chocolate chip cookie, this was a protein chocolate chip cookie. See (and believe!) for yourself:

MACROS (per serving) – 1 Cookie:
Calories: 97
Protein: 5g
Fat: 6g
Net Carbs: 7g

Week two introduced us to a GIANT Maple Bacon Donut. And “giant” is in capitals for good reason, just take a look:

MACROS (per serving) – 1 Mini Donut:
Calories: 253
Protein: 13g
Fat: 15g
Net Carbs: 15g (1g sugar)

Just when you thought it was safe to go online again, week three hit and Joe Questified Chocolate dipped PROTEIN churros – not fair, dude.

MACROS (per serving) – 1 Churro:
Calories: 100
Protein: 5g
Net Carbs: 4g
Fat: 7g

The grand finale is what Questify is all about – taking it to the next level. Joe combined all three of the previous recipes along with protein ice cream in this amazing mad food scientist creation:

VANILLA ICE CREAM RECIPE:
MACROS (per serving) – 4 servings:
Calories: 103
Protein: 11g
Fat: 4g
Net Carbs: 8g
