The biggest, baddest, and sexiest of the IFBB will be taking the stage in New York this Saturday and the winners can claim to be the king (and queens) of New York! The pro line-up includes men’s bodybuilding, 202-under bodybuilding, figure, and bikini (scroll down for competitor lists)! Promoter Steve Weinberger and his crew always put on a great event and the Tribecca Performing Arts Center has become a favorite of competitors and fans alike.

The NY Pro Men’s Bodybuilding Championships is one of the most prestigious titles in the world with past winners that include Phil Heath, Branch Warren, Even Centopani, and Kai Greene. This year Greene is back on stage in his hometown and the stage he’s competed on so many times. After a disappointing 2010 Mr. Olympia, Greene is looking to reclaim he status as a threat for the Sandow in September. Greene’s challengers are plenty and no less worthy of the title: 2010 NY Pro champ Roelly Winklaar is back; 2011 Mr. Europe champ Ronny Rockel is looking for another win; and up-and-comers like Ben White, Brandon Curry, Cedric McMillan are all looking for their first pro victory.

The 202 & Under division is shaping up to be a battle between Flex Lewis and Jose Raymond. Lewis’ lines and grainy condition will be up against Raymond’s freaky proportions and mass. The winner will head to the 202 Showdown as the number one challenger to reigning champion Kevin English.

In figure, defending champion Cheryl Brown is out for her third win of 2011. Look for her to be challenged by Heather Dees, who placed second to Brown in Pittsburgh.

The bikini division is shaping up to be super-competitive and defending champion Missy Coles will have her hands full. Juliana Daniel made herself known in Pittsburgh with her surprising (and deserving) second place finish. Jessica Jessie and Abbie Burrows will look to regain the form they showed earlier in 2011. And don’t count out Ali Rosen, who is the top ranking Olympia competitor in this line up and is looking to improve on her showing in Pittsburgh.

FLEXonline will be right in the middle of all the action. Live play-by-play on the homepage, the best stage photos on the web (available while the show is going on), complete reports & results, and video wrap-ups!
