• ½ cup natural peanut, almond, or cashew butter
  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 1 orange, zest only
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • ⅔ cup plain, vanilla, or chocolate whey protein powder
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds


  1. Stir together nut butter, honey, orange zest, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Add protein powder and mix until fully incorporated. The mixture should be doughy and just slightly moist, so if it‘s too dry, add water 1 tablespoon at a time.
  2. Roll mixture into 12 1-inch balls. Place chia seeds in a shallow dish and roll balls in seeds. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
