While you shouldn’t be ordering a double-scoop on the daily, when you do decide to treat yourself it’s important to get what you actually want and truly enjoy it. “When you’re going to cheat on your diet, it’s all about accepting it. Actively decide that you’re going to do it, accept it, and don’t feel guilty about it because that ruins the fun of it,” says Isabel Smith, MS, RD, CDN, registered dietitian and founder of Isabel Smith Nutrition.
