Ross Gardner, 39, was so overweight that he had to pay for two plane seats.
Extremely embarrassed, the Florida native decided to stop eating upwards of 15,000 calories of fast food a day and drinking excessively every night.
A typical day of eating for Gardner included a foot-long cheesesteak and a full pizza, along with other unhealthy fast foods and almost a liter of Jack Daniels.
“I finally realized what I was doing to my body and decided to make serious changes,” he said.
Gardner wants to show others that it’s never too late to turn your life around. He lost nearly 200 pounds in ten months and had to have six pounds of excess skin removed from his torso.
“My belly button was down by my knees and I had to tuck my skin into my shorts to hide it,” Gardner Said. “It was humiliating.”
He didn’t need to have skin removed from his arms because of how big his muscles had become. Those are some serious gains.
According to his Instagram, most of his weight-loss journey took place in 2005. Gardner has maintained his physique and still looks awesome. Since then, he’s become a chiropractor and enjoys helping people and motivating others to make changes the way he did.
