After two days of intense competition, the overall awards were given out Saturday evening. Anthony Pasquale came out of nowhere to not only win the Heavyweight class, but also the Mens Bodybuilding overall. A noticeable decline in women's bodybuilding was evident for the first year with only 8 competitors. Veteran LaDawn McDay took the overall after having come close to winning the past years at the Nationals. She clearly deserved the win with a great structure that stood out of the light lineup.

Clearly women's physique is the preferred competitive division geared to take over women's bodybuilding. Based off off the criteria set at the 2012 New YorkPro, Lauren Lessnau fit within those guidelines to take the overall.
