Read articleIFBB Pro Cedric McMillan is now 6 weeks out from the 2013 Arnold Classic. Under the tutelage of Chris Aceto, McMillan is striving for the biggest win of hos career to date.
Is McMillan ready to make that leap? He'll be competing against Olympia veterans such as Dexter Jackson, Foaud Abiad, Ben Pakulski, Toney Freeman, Ed Nunn, Marcus Haley, Michael Kefalianos and Hidetada Yamagishi in addition to Fred Smalls and Darrem Charles. McMillan has only competed against Haley and Kefalianos from this group – placing better than both.
If Cedric McMillan adds some muscle and brings up the size he needs on his frame. there's no doubt his condition will be on target, as this is his hallmark trait. Team Aceto/McMillan proved they could do it in the 2012 New York Pro, but the field was nowhere as deep as it will be at the 2013 Arnold Classic.
If McMillan brings up his size, and if Dexter slips in his preparation, there's a good chance McMillan will be your next 2013 Arnold Classic Champion. But, as we know all too well, there's a whole crop of pros that are saying, "Not if I can help it."
