Man does dumbbell squat punch exercise

Sure, your quads look like tree trunks and you’ve got the biggest biceps out of all your gym buddies. But what’s all that say about your actual core strength? Probably not much.

Your ability to complete this punishing circuit, however, will tell you everything you need to know. With challenging exercises like dumbbell squat punches and mountain climbers, you can start building real muscle from the inside out.

Directions

You’ll do this workout as a circuit, meaning you’ll do each exercise consecutively without rest. Once you’ve completed all exercises, rest for 30 seconds. Repeat the whole circuit for a total of 5-10 rounds.

Depending on your ability, you may shorten or lengthen the rest period. You may also complete more or fewer rounds.
