The former governor of California plays Ray Owens, a sheriff of a small border town who has the unfortunate luck of having to deal with a drug kingpin trying to cross the border through his town on his day off. Owens and his inexperienced staff become the last stand between the cartel boss and the Mexican border. Throw in FBI involvement and the entertainment of Johnny Knoxville, Luis Guzman and Oscar winner Forrest Whitaker and you’ve got yourself a full-fledged, action-packed thriller.
