Running around on all fours may not be the most useful way of getting from A to B, but Kenichi Ito is officially the fastest man on the planet at doing it.
Ito's shattered the record last week as part of Guinness World Record Day last week. According to the Guardian it took Ito nine years, yes nine years, to perfect his running style, reportedly inspired by that of the African Patas monkey.
Now, whatever you think of Ito and his bizarre record, he set a goal, put in years of hard work to be technically capable of achieving it, and then he executed. So, congratulations Kenichi!
