Swiss Ball EZ-Bar Overhead Triceps Extension

This exercise helps increase strength and muscle growth across all three major areas of the triceps muscle. Using a Swiss ball actively engages the core muscles simultaneously.


  1. 56_A
    Sit upright on a Swiss ball with feet planted firmly on the ground. Grab an EZ-Bar with a double-overhand close grip. Lean back into the ball and position bar overhead with arms fully extended.
  2. Swiss Ball EZ-Bar Overhead Triceps Extension
    Keeping the core tight, bend the elbows and lower the EZ-Bar behind your head. Pause at the bottom of the motion and return to the start position by contracting the triceps and straightening the arms.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Be sure to keep core stable throughout movement.
  • Do not let your elbows flare outward. Keep upper arms stationary.
