Overhead Lunge with Rotation

The overhead lunge with rotation is a full-body exercise that increases strength in the shoulders and legs, develops stability throughout the core, and improves mobility in the hips, spine, and ankles.

Instructions

    Stand up tall with your arms raised overhead. Step forward into a lunge, dropping your front knee to 90 degrees.
  2. Overhead Lunge with Rotation
    Twist your torso toward the front leg while keep your arms locked overhead. Push through your front leg to return to the starting position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Do not let your knee move past your foot.
  • Keep your back flat and always move within a comfortable range of motion.
