Abs snails are a ground-based, bodyweight exercise that strengthens the core, lower abdominals, hip flexors, shoulders, glutes, and hamstrings.
Sit upright on the floor in an L-sit position with legs together. Place your hands behind your torso.
Keep both your elbows and knees straight. Squeeze your shoulders together and tighten your glutes as you lift your hips off the ground so that your body forms a straight line from your chest to your ankles, with your hands under your shoulders. Pause, and return to the starting position.
Do not move too fast. Stay in a controlled pace throughout.
Aggressively flex your glutes in the top position.
