The ultimate sporting weekend

 

The ‘SportEx Festival’ will play host to a fantastic two days of awe-inspiring sporting entertainment. Located at EventCity, Manchester on the 20th and 21st October, the weekend will showcase over 7 national sports tournaments including judo, 5-a-side football and badminton.

SportEx will also be home to the two most prestigious bodybuilding events in the UK, the UKBFF British Championships and the IFBB British Grand Prix; the first time ever these competitions have been run together in the UK. In addition to this astonishing sporting spectacle, SportEx will also host the North’s largest sports exhibition with over 150 recognised sports, fitness and nutrition companies.

WMKF

The World Martial Arts Kombat Federation returns for the third instalment in the MAI National Circuit. Run by former WMKF World Champion Lee Matthews and 2011 WAKO coach of the year Drew Neil, the tournament will see competitors fight to become a nationally rated competitor in the UK’s number one travelling tournament circuit.

Badminton

Run in partnership with Badminton England, the governing body of Badminton, ‘The SportEx Badminton Classic’ sees regional amateur athletes participate in an assortment of league and social competitions. Open to all ages and standards in a multitude of match formats, the ‘The SportEx Badminton Classic’ is the ultimate badminton development tournament.

Football

SportEx Festival introduces the FootyRus.co.uk National 5-A-Side Championships. Welcoming 48 teams from all across the UK, the tournament will undertake a group to knockout format with the winning side taking home kits, trophies and other prizes.

Jason Baird’ Ultimate Forms Challenge

Jason Baird’s Ultimate Forms Challenge will welcome dozens of current and former Kata champions.  Established by former 11 time kata world champion Jason Baird, spectators will discover who really is the 'Supreme Forms Grand Champion’ in this prestigious invitational only event.

BodyBuilding

Welcoming world class bodybuilding back to the UK, the SportEx Festival will host both the ‘UKBFF British Championships’ and the ‘IFBB Pro British Grand Prix’. The best professional and amateur bodybuilders will grace the stage over this action packed weekend for what is billed at the most anticipated bodybuilding event in British bodybuilding.

Judo

The Neil Adams Judo Classic – Former World and Olympic medallist, Neil Adams hosts his first 2 Star International Development tournament with over 1000 junior and senior competitors expected. Held over this enormous sporting weekend, the Neil Adams Judo Classic hopes to help inspiring athletes develop in a competitive environment.  

Arnold Schwarzenegger Statue Dedication
