See the Sights

I love filming NBC’s 1st Look: It’s my dream job! I get to travel all over the world and report on trendy, happening places. I also get to try a lot of fun new workouts—so far I’ve done aqua cycling, indoor surfing, and trapeze. Plus, I’m still an ambassador of Curve fragrance. I’m definitely keeping very busy!

Her Training Tenets

My secret to staying in shape is pretty straightforward: I drink a lot of water, make time to exercise, choose healthy foods, and make sure to get enough sleep. I’m lucky that fruit is my favorite “dessert.” At the end of a meal, I’m definitely more inclined to reach for some naturally sweet berries than a slice of chocolate cake.

Be a Road Warrior

I find it hard to stick to a routine since I’m constantly traveling. Let’s just say there’s a lot of room service involved! I try to order as healthily as I can, and I bring snacks. Often I’ll look up the nearest market on my phone and pick up some goodies. I also have a little workout routine I do in my room or at the hotel gym. If I’m pressed for time, I’ll do a quick circuit of situps and squats. And I’ll try to find some yoga classes wherever I am. It’s great to try new things in new places.

Have Fun in the Sun

When the weather is nice, I love being active outside, whether it’s playing beach volleyball, riding a beach cruiser, hiking, swimming, running outside, or even going out to dance. I’m not a huge fan of running on a treadmill unless I absolutely have to. I try to get outdoors every day, whether it’s a little walk with my dog or running around playing with my niece and nephew!

Find Your Success by Finding Balance

It can be exhausting at times to be juggling so many things. My advice for other busy women is that you have to remember that it’s OK to say no. Sometimes you need a pamper day to revamp mentally, physically, and spiritually, otherwise you will burn out, and your body will make you slow down one way or another.

Where Real Beauty Comes From

I think it’s very important to always be at your best, whether or not you’re in front of a camera. You have to take care of your body inside and out, 24/7. In the end, it’s all about achieving health, nutrition, and wellness.
