Any Game of Thrones fan knows Sophie Turner’s face. The British beauty first earned fame and critical acclaim playing the role of Sansa Stark on HBO’s wildly popular series.
The 21-year-old actress had always been interested in performing, but it was in fact her drama teacher who encouraged her to audition—and dye her naturally blonde hair auburn—for the part in the epic series, which would become her television debut, according to IMDB.
And since her meteoric rise to fame, Turner has gone on to receive multiple nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, as well as land the role of Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse.
Given Turner’s stunning good looks and raw talent, we can pretty much guarantee this is only the beginning of a long and successful career.
