In the world of pro wrestling it can be hard to separate fact from fiction but this union is a genuine case of art imitating life. In a storyline on WWE Monday Night Raw in 1999, Triple H was seen marrying Stephanie in a drive-through ceremony in Las Vegas. Initially it was thought that the former WWE champion had somehow spiked the drink of the ‘bosses daughter’ in order to force her into the wedding.As the storyline progressed it was revealed that the two had plotted the wedding all along in an attempt to steal power from daddy Vince McMahon – the owner of WWE. The storyline drew the pair closer together in real life too and they began dating. Triple H and Stephanie were genuinely married in 2003 and are still going STRONG today!

For those that have questioned why the big man is often referred to as ‘Hunter’ or ‘Paul’… the truth is Triple H is a man of many names. Although his real name is Paul Levesque, he wrestled for WCW as Terra Ryzing and later entered WWE under the name Hunter Hearst Helmsley where he portrayed the character of an elitist snob.Years later, when he joined Shawn Michaels to form D-Generation X (a rebellious stable of wrestlers) his snobbish behaviour degenerated too and he became more street smart. The nickname ‘Triple H’ took over and ‘Hunter Hearst Helmsley’ has not been used since. ‘King of Kings’ maybe one of the more apt nicknames that Triple H has been given over the years. She has worked on the company reception desk, in sales, creative, and production, although few know that Stephanie made one of her first public appearances in a merchandise catalog.Working for her dad Vince McMahon, Steph modeled wrestling t-shirts and hats aged just 13. These days the powerful princess graces the covers of magazines like Muscle & Fitness!

Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque watched wrestling for the first time when he was five. He fell in love with it and took up bodybuilding at the age of 14, because he wanted to look like a professional wrestler. Years later he would not only enter the ring, but he would dominate it.Before his wrestling career began, and after graduating from high school in 1987, Levesque entered several bodybuilding competitions. He was even crowned ‘Teenage Mr. New Hampshire’ in 1988.

In 2010 the Fairfield County Business Journal awarded Stephanie McMahon their ’40 under 40 award’. She was also recognized as ‘One of the Most Powerful Women in Cable’ by Cable magazine in 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2013.McMahon was named the Honorary Chairperson of the Special Olympics of Connecticut in 2013, and was recently selected as a 2015 Eisenhower USA fellow. She’s one of nine leaders to participate in this international leadership exchange program that is dedicated to building bridges and making the world more peaceful.
