After being stripped of his title for fleeing the scene of an accident in which he was involved earlier this year in Alburquerque, New Mexico, former UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones has been working hard to maintain his level of strength and fitness. Here he is in the video below, deadlifting a personal best 525 pounds. Not too shabby for a guy who weighs in at 222 pounds.

So far no official word has come down as to if and when Jones’ suspension form the UFC will be lifted. However, should that time come anytime soon, it looks as if the former champ will be physically up for the challenge. And the man standing in his way of reclaiming the light heavyweight belt would most likely be Daniel Cormier who defeated Alexander Gustafsson  by unanimous decision at UFC 192 on Saturday night in a bruising fight that went the distance.

Along with his raw talent, Jones also works hard with the iron to achieve an optimal level of performance along with a shredded physique. Check out “Bones” working a variety of muscles in the clip below.
