Our dream of watching Riff Raff get bodyslammed may soon be a reality.

The “Neon Icon” and constant “is-he-serious-or-putting-on-a-show” pop culture figure announced last month he wanted to be a pro wrestler, but recent coverage from VICE about his training and a quick examination of his Instagram account show that he’s actually serious.

In December, Riff Raff hired WWE Legend Hulk Hogan to train him for the ring, and the rapper is now up to 225 pounds, a dramatic change over last year.

Hulk and fellow Legend Jimmy Hart cut a promo for him on a quick iPhone capture:

Later, The Miz said he’d kick Riff Raff’s ass if he ever entered the ring:

He may get his shot, since Riff Raff appears beefed up and dedicated to the gym. These recent shots indicate that the guy might actually be a viable contender:

Among the signature moves he plans to show off are the “Aquaberry Blast,” the “Neon Knee Buster” and the “Lamborghini Leg Lock.” No word yet on if he plans to knock off “Macho Man” Randy Savage, but neon seems to be back in.
