Lateral Stepover

This exercise engages both the transverse and frontal planes to maximize strength and balance throughout the hip, core, and lower body.


  1. 536_A
    Stand tall next to a bench. Raise the inner leg and side-step over the bench.
  2. Lateral Stepover
    Immediately repeat with your outside leg so that you end on the opposite side of the bench.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Drive your knees to the midline of your body to ensure proper hip activation.
