Medicine Ball Mountain Climber

The medicine ball mountain climber is a dynamic bodyweight exercise that increases stability, strength, and stamina throughout your entire body. This exercise also improves cardiovascular endurance.

    Start in pushup position with your hands on top of a medicine ball. Keep your arms completely straight and directly beneath your shoulders.
  2. Medicine Ball Mountain Climber
    Brace core and lift one foot off the floor, raising your knee up toward your chest while keeping your body in a straight line from your shoulders to ankles. Return to the starting position and repeat the movement with your opposite leg.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Do not rotate your torso from side to side. Squeeze your abs to keep your torso rigid.
  • Do not arch your lower back as your bring your knees towards your chest.
  • Do not bend your elbows. Keep them locked out for the entire exercise.
