Swiss Ball Pushup

The Swiss ball pushup is a progression of the traditional pushup that engages the core while training the chest, shoulders, and triceps.

    Get in a pushup position with each hand on top of a Swiss ball, your arms locked.
  2. Swiss Ball Pushup
    Bend your elbows to lower yourself until your chest touches the Swiss ball. Pause, then push yourself back to the starting position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Keep your elbows tucked in at your sides.
  • Keep your core tight and your back flat throughout the movement.
  • Place your hands directly on top of the Swiss ball to reduce the chance of injury.
