The Swiss ball opposite arm and leg lift builds strength throughout the lower back and core.

    Lie facedown on a Swiss ball with the ball placed around your belly button. Rest both of your feet on the ground.
  2. Swiss Ball Opposite Arm and Leg Lift
    Slowly raise one hand and the opposite leg at the same time. Pause, and then slowly lower to the starting position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Avoid lifting your arm and leg too far and overarching your lower back during the movement.
  • Do not overarch your neck. Keep your head in line with the rest of your body during the exercise.
