Pro surfer Courtney Conlogue, one of the top-ranked women in her sport, talked training and body positivity in an exclusive interview with Morty Ain for ESPN The Magazine’s Body Issue 2016.

The stunning photos, taken in Tahiti by Steven Lippman, show off Conlogue’s gorgeous figure and skill. She makes surfing look easy, but her training is no joke.

In the interview, the athlete shared some of her training routine. For starters, it includes lots of gym time, breath training and close calls on the water. Conlogue also shared her views on body positivity and how she learned to love her own body.

“I’m at the point where I’m so happy with how I feel,” Conlogue said, “everything my body has is seriously what I need to do a run. I’ve fine-tuned how I need to look in order to be the best I can when that jersey goes on and I’m competing.”
