The Screen Actors Guild Awards spotlight outstanding performances in television and film.
But this year, Hollywood switched things up: The SAGs only featured female presenters and host in a strategic decision to further the conversation surrounding the #MeToo movement and “Time’s Up” campaign.
In fact, many of the women who took home awards were pioneers of the movement against sexual harassment in Hollywood.
