We know you're training constantly, pushing yourself to the next level, hitting that holy shit moment, and generally leaving it all on the mat. We know you're not letting December spell the end of your fitness success in 2012, and we know you're not letting holiday parties prevent you from bringing sexy back to January 2013.

But you're not doing yourself any favors if you're not rolling out before your personal training sessions or at home. Rolling out – or Self-Myofascial Release – is a great way to promote recovery. That way when you go all out in a Spartan Sport class, for example, you can actually walk the next day, because your quads and IT bands don't feel like lead. They're a good investment if you can get one for your own personal use, but any gym worth its salt is going to have a few that you can use before and after your workouts.

If you're at a loss as to what you should do for rolling out, check out the videos below. If you already know what you've doing, then just take this as a friendly reminder to keep up the good work and massage out those awesome muscles.
