Abel Albonetti grew up in Hernando, MS, and began lifting weights at 14. He was homeschooled, so he never got to play sports in school. Instead, he lifted. Around 17, he began training in a YMCA. By chance, a modeling agent discovered him in the Y one day, which led to modeling work.
As he continued to hit the gym, he transitioned to fitness modeling and started a Facebook page. Today, that page (@abelalbonetti) has nearly two million likes. You can also find him on Instagram (@abelbodygym) and YouTube (youtube.com/abelalbonetti).

Just killed the first out of two chest workouts today! This morning, I focused on heavy compound movements. 7 sets of 6 reps on incline press & 5 sets of 8 reps on dumbbell flat press, finished the workout with 4 sets of 10 reps on incline flies and weighted dips. Later, I will go back and do my normal 8 to 15 rep range and do super sets and drop sets for more hypertrophy. Good thing I have some good supplements from @muscletech to help me recover and push me through these intense workouts!
