Guerlain Chicherit, a professional car driver and skier, pulled off an amazing stunt in Tignes, France, on February 17 when he did a 360-degree back flip in a Mini Cooper and landed safely. Planning to pull off this feat reportedly took four years, and Chicherit was delighted after achieving his goal.

“Before the jump it was crazy. I was alone in the car before the start and I just had to do it, everything was ready. I had to arrive at 60kph and be full throttle in the kicker to get the right rotation,” he said, according to the Mirror newspaper.

“In the jump, I knew the balance of the car was good and it took me maybe 20 seconds to realize I had landed on my wheels. When you attempt something nobody has ever achieved before, the stress is really high but the only way is to just try it.”

Monster Energy sponsored the event and claim the Chicherit is the first man to ever carry off a car backflip. More power to you, Guerlain!
