Live from New York it’s former UFC bantamweight champ, Ronda Rousey. The multi-talented, star will take to the airwaves on January 23 to host the legendary late night show in her first big broadcast appearance since her shocking UFC bantamweight title defeat by Holly Holm.

While Rousey is no stranger to the bright lights of Hollywood — she’s appeared in several recent blockbusters including Furious 7 and The Expendables 3 — the martial arts sensation has yet to flex her true comedic talents. After such a brutal beating at the hands of Holm, it’s good to see she’s got a sense of humor and can laugh at whatever the SNL writers throw her way. And in case you’re one of the few people who care, Selena Gomez will join Rousey as the show’s musical guest.

Is the ex-champ stretching herself too thin with these showbiz appearances? Here’s what she had to say about her Hollywood endeavors in a recent USA TODAY article. “People might think of it like I am being pulled in too many directions at once and so I can’t focus properly, but that’s not the case, said Rousey. “The more I have going on and the more chaos there is, the better it is for me. Making movies, being super busy, that actually makes me fight better.”

While she still has countless fans throughout the world, it looks like the former champ believes many have jumped ship since her loss — as demonstrated by her first instagram post of the year.
