Power Squat Chops

Power squat chops increase explosive power and strength in the lower body and throughout the core. The exercise specifically targets the quads, glutes, hamstrings, and obliques.

    Stand with your feet together and your arms fully extended overhead, your hands clasped.
  2. Power Squat Chops
    Jump your feet out, landing in a squat position while chopping your arms diagonally across one side of your body. Pause, then jump back to the starting position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • As you bring your arms across your body, squeeze your abs.
  • Push your hips back to start the squat movement.
  • Make sure your knees do not cave inward during the squat.
