X Abs

This exercise is a simple bodyweight movement that targets core strength by using lower body and upper body movement to add resistance. The movement also improves balance, stability and coordination.

Instructions

  1. 837_A
    Lie on your back with your arms and legs outstretched. Lift legs should be slightly off the ground and brace your core.
  2. X Abs
    Lift your head and shoulders off the floor and raise your legs towards your shoulders while bringing arms down towards your hips. Then slowly lower and return to the starting position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Avoid over-arching the lower back.
  • Focus on slowly lowering your body and contracting your abs.
