The bent over reach to sky is a dynamic warm-up that improves mobility and functionality in the upper back, torso, and hip.

  1. 527_A
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your knees slightly bent. Bend at your hips to lower your torso toward the ground, keeping your back straight and letting your arms hang.
  2. Bent Over Reach to Sky
Rotate your torso to one side and reach as high as you can with your top arm. Return to the bent-over position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Be sure to keep a slight bend in your knees throughout the entire exercise to reduce back tension.
  • Try to keep your back as flat as possible during the movement to reduce risk of injury.
