Bodybuilding fans the world over have reason to celebrate — the legendary Mr. America, Mr. Universe winner, Harold Poole, has returned to the public eye after a long absence.

The man best known for playing the runner-up role in Larry Scott’s 1965 and ’66 Mr. Olympia wins last competed at the 1982 IFBB World Pro Championships and removed himself from the bodybuilding spotlight shortly thereafter. The native New Yorker has since relocated to sunny Florida, where he has recently regained an interest in the form of exercise that brought him success and a measure of fame in the 60’s and 70’s.

You can check out Harold’s brand new website at www.haroldpoole.com where you’ll find vintage articles, lots of old photos, and even some recent ones featuring a fit-looking silver-maned Poole.

Welcome back Harold! We’ve missed you.
