Pro figure had their day in the sun as top IFBB Pro League athletes gathered for the 2010 California Pro Figure Championships at the Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in Culver City, California (held in conjunction with the NPC California Bodybuilding, Figure & Bikini Championships).
The heavy favorite heading into the show is Heather Mae French, fresh off of her win four weeks earlier at the Pittsburgh Pro Figure Championships. Based on this afternoon’s first callout, French seems to be in good position with Meriza DeGuzman, Katina Maestrellis and Carin Hawkins also in strong contention. With the top three qualifying for the 2010 Figure Olympia, presented by Ultimate Nutrition and GNC, you can be sure they’ll heat up the stage at the evening finals.
