Plank Jacks with Feet on Sliding Discs

Plank jacks with feet on sliding discs are an advanced progression of the traditional plank jack that strengthens the upper body, lower body, and core. This exercise also improves cardiovascular endurance.

Instructions

    Place each foot on a sliding disc and start in pushup position with your body forming a straight line from your shoulders to ankles.
  2. Plank Jacks with Feet on Sliding Discs
    Slide your feet outwards as far as you can without moving your torso. Then, slide your legs back to the starting position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Initiate the movement of the discs by pressing your toes forcefully into the floor.
  • As you move your legs outwards, do not allow your torso to rotate.
  • Squeeze your abs and glutes to keep your body stable.
