Pushup Plus

The pushup plus is a full body exercise that targets the pectoral and tricep regions, while creating greater range of motion throughout the shoulder complex and middle back.

Instructions

    Begin in a pushup position. Brace your core and remain contracted throughout the entire exercise.
  2. Pushup Plus
    Lower your body until your chest nearly touches the floor. Pause, then push yourself back to the start.
  3. Instructions step placeholder
    Once your arms are fully extended, continue pressing your palms into the ground and drive your shoulder blades towards the ceiling. Return to starting position.

Trainer’s Tips

  • Do not allow hips to sag. Instead, keep hips raised and aligned with your shoulders.
