The Problem

You’re pulling some serious weight off the floor, but your gym doesn’t have a deadlift jack and you’re wearing yourself out wrestling plates on and off the bar.

The Solution

Use another plate to prop up the bar for easy-on, easy-off access.

Step 1

Roll one side onto a smaller plate so it sits in the hole and doesn’t move.

Step 2

When you’re finished, roll the inside plate of one side back onto the plate.

Step 3

Take the collar off the side that’s still loaded, then lift the other end of the bar.

Step 4

Replace the barbell where you found it, and rack all your plates like the responsible M&Fer you are.
