When it came to finding the right actor to elicit Dothraki rage and brutality, the producers of the HBO hit show Game of Thrones had a major challenge on their hands. But after this video surfaced over the weekend showing rising action star Jason Momoa's audition for the role, the perfect choice became immediately clear.

It's short and to-the-point, but the video foreshadows Momoa's ascent into action, with the added benefit of revealing just how lean he was before he got the role.

These days, Momoa is preparing for his next big role as Aquaman in the upcoming Justice League film series from DC and Zack Snyder, who directed Man of Steel and the upcoming Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice. In 2012, he became the title character in the reboot to Conan the Barbarian. "Valar morgulis" may hold true, but we're sure Momoa's action ascent is only beginning.
