Alistair Brownlee believes in no man left behind.

Yesterday, at the final race of the World Triathlon Series in Cozumel, Alistair Brownlee sacrificed his position to guarantee his brother Johnny finished the race.

Coming down the final stretch, Johnny was in first place and was running extremely wobbly due to exhaustion and dehydration. When Alistair saw his brother struggling he grabbed him and helped him cross the finish line. Before Alistair saw his brother, he was jockeying with another runner for second place.

To add a cherry on top, Alistair forced Johnny across the line before himself to ensure Johnny second place.

Over the years the brothers have been a mainstay in the sport. Combined, they have four medals over the last two Olympics at the triathlon.
