Sports Illustrated Swimsuit has teamed up with DIRECTV NOW for the “Making of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2017” that will air exclusively on DIRECTV NOW beginning in mid-February, and will offer viewers a rare glimpse behind the scenes during the creation of the iconic issue.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit is thrilled to announce the return of Chrissy Teigen for the 2017 issue looking as flawless as ever just months after giving birth. As for Chrissy, she’s still getting adjusted to her post-baby body. “It’s been awhile since I’ve done anything swimsuit,” Chrissy explains. “I haven’t shot since baby. But of course you know that [SI Swimsuit editor] MJ [Day] and everyone at Sports Illustrated in general is going to embrace your body no matter what’s happening and embrace the changes.”

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit announced today that Hailey Clauson is returning once again to be featured in the 2017 edition of SI Swimsuit.

A native, of Hong Kong, Mia considers herself to be a citizen of the world—her mother is South Korean, while her father is British, giving our newest rookie a unique look and unparalleled beauty. This international SI Swimsuit goddess is a “Jack of all Trades”—in fact, if she wasn’t a model, Mia would pursue a full-time career as a professional fighter. Between modeling gigs, Mia spends her time training in Thai boxing—she even moved in with a house of fighters for six months, after telling her agent she was just going on a 10-day vacation in Thailand. The athletic beauty also isn’t afraid to show her vulnerable side and has been very candid about sharing her struggles with anxiety, bulimia, anorexia and depression. Now she hopes to encourage her fans around the world by sharing her story and showing how a healthy lifestyle can transform you from the inside out.

Sports Illustrated is excited to announce that one of the most famous Sports Illustrated Swimsuit icons is retuning and bringing her daughters! Christie Brinkley will appear in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2017 with her daughters Alexa Ray Joel and Sailor Brinkley Cook. 
 
The legendary Christie Brinkley, 63-years-young, is returning to the pages of SI Swimsuit, and out to prove that age is nothing more than a number. This time Christie is joined by daughters Alexa Ray Joel (31) and Sailor Brinkley Cook (18), adding another first for the brand. The SI Swimsuit icon revealed that the whole shoot was a dream come true for her.

A native of, Lodi, Italy, Bianca Balti is the newest SI Rookie to join this stunning group of beauties. The outspoken mother of two, got her modeling start in university, where she studied web and graphic design. However, school didn’t hold her attention long as her social life blossomed and she was quickly discovered. Bianca is also very interested in social issues, and isn’t afraid to speak up about things that matter to her—recently she participated in an anti-bullying march. The greatest joys in Bianca’s life are her family—which she would like to continue expanding but not she’s not in a hurry.

A native of Sweden, Kelly has graced the pages of numerous fashion magazines and catwalks with her most memorable runway appearances at the annual Victoria Secret Fashion Show.  Launching her modeling career at the young age of 13, this 21 year old Swedish stunner counts Borat as one of her favorite films, loves (extremely) long walks on the beach and most likely will take you down in an intense FIFA match up on her PlayStation.

Raised in Racine, Wisconsin, Myla’s modeling career began after she won Miss Teen Wisconsin at age 16. As a teenager, Myla was an active dancer and taught tap, jazz, and modern dance. With her appreciation for the human form, Myla doesn’t just enjoy being in front of a camera, she also likes to be behind the camera, as seen in her self-photographed spread for the first non-nude issue of Playboy.  When Myla’s away from the camera, she’s an avid cheese and brandy lover and active advocate for women’s rights.

In connection with the Vibes by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit announcement, SI Swimsuit is also announcing that Olympic Gold Medalist Simone Biles is making herSI Swimsuit debut in the 2017 issue. Biles, who lives and trains in the Houston area was photographed by James Macari at the World Champions Center, the North Houston Skate Park, and the Lillie and Hugh Roy Cullen Sculpture Garden.
