The Rock’s acting career is getting busier and busier. So far in 2013, Dwyane Johnson has starred in Empire State, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Snitch, Fast & Furious 6, and Pain & Gain, and he is currently working on Hercules: The Thracian Wars.

Now, it has been confirmed that The Rock will play the lead in The Fall Guy, an action series that ran on ABC from 1981-1986. The 42-year-old star will reprise the role made famous by the brooding Lee Majors, and McG is reportedly in talks to sit in the director’s chair. The movie will be funded by Hyde Park and WWE
